Thread grafting swamp Cypress

Has anyone thread grafted a swamp Cyprus ? If so what time of year best? and can you perform multiple grafts at the same? time?

Never done it. Would be surprised at the need to - if you strip the trunk new buds should pop everywhere and just select the ones you want as branches.

I would agree with that assessment. There should not be any need for a thread graft with this type of tree.
