This is a plum that I dug approx 2 1/2 yrs ago. it is/was a self seeded cherry plum down the end of a family members yard. after hrs of digging, chopping, and swearing, I hooked up a 4 wheel drive and ripped it out.
these are photos of when I first attempted to bend down the branches
next come the photos of when I gave up and asked for help... we also put it into a dish....

Wow what a great specimen Paddles!! I love the pot that it is in too. To me the tree has a lot of fluidity in it's shape which will only get better with time . My only criticism would be to remove the lowest branch as I think it just sits too low in relation to te trunk.

Hi Paddles, thankyou for your hospitality today, we had a great time. It was a pleasure to work with you and your tree, it will still need a couple of growing seasons to finalise its shape and form, leave the lower branch on as it is part of the final vision of the tree. miyagiman

PS are they screws or branch stubs that the wire is attached to in two separate places on the back?...it gets a little too blury to tell when I zoom in on the pic.
