Post by Craig »

An interesting video featuring a year in the life of the bonsai artist Shinji Suzuki, the curator of the bonsai museum Taikan.

sorry if you've seen it

Thanks Craig. What a great insight into one of the great bonsai artists going around Japan at the moment but from over 10 years ago!!! He now has one of the best gardens/nurseries and greatest trees coming out from his garden/nursery, not to mention the number of westerners training as apprentices under him. Brilliant video about Shinji Suzuki and loved the part about the "Jomon" cedar and Shinji becoming emotional.

Understandable the narrating had to be "dumbed down" and very cringe worthy due to appealing to the broader public!!! :)

Thanks again Craig!!!

Yet another great video. Thanks for sharing it, Craig.
Just how much time do you spend trawling the net for these?
Penny.
