Scotts Pine 7 years on
This pine was bought from a local nursury in 2004. This is the first year in a Bonsai pot.

Good tree, good pot, and nice bird, what more can a man ask for?

Really nice movement in the trunk. The pot complements the tree nicely. Great work

Very nice Peter. Scotts pines are admirable Bonsai and this is no exception. I have a few of them on the go.

Re: Scotts Pine 7 years on
A member ( LLK) suggested this pot as she felt the PK pot was a bit small and weak for this tree. So I have repotted.
What do you think?

Yes, I think that pot works. Having seen that admirable pine in real life, I am glad you found something that matches the tree's strength. Thanks for posting the update with photo!

It is an interesting tree Peter
The new Pot is definitely better, in fact it is also an interesting match, maybe not a perfect choice but when all is added together the weight is spot on
In my opinion it fits in a quirky way so not sure if there is a better pot again?

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.
