I have been working on this root over rock for a few years now, 5 or 6 or 7 and it is finally starting to take on some resemblance of a bonsai.
Although it has been a root over rock for quite a few years, it didn't really attach to the rock as I would have liked. So in late 2010 I decided to put a fence around the roots and rock, fill the cavity with sphagnum moss in an attempt to encourage the roots to get a firmer hold on the rock.
I would be interested in your opinions and thoughts for the future.
Cheers
Watto
PS - I know it needs a different pot - probably in the spring of this year.
