A trip to Bodhidharma

Whilst in Daylesford one of the main attractions I was very keen to visit was Bodhidharma! I was so keen that instead of picking up our accommodation keys etc, I drove straight to Bodhi's. And it was definitely worth it, Diederik has such a wonderful collection of showpiece bonsai on display, and we felt privileged to be invited around the back to his growing area (Ausbonsai exclusive access I'm told ). And even though he was busy, Diederik found plenty time to have a chat, which made our visit all the more special ... so after an extensive wander and also seeing some of his works in progress (including those presented on this site - great to see these trees 'in the bark' - always much more impressive than in a photo) After a while, I had selected a couple of trees to come home with us (at very reasonable prices too )

So thanks Diederik for such a pleasant afternoon, and for the tip about the scenic route back - enjoyed that too! Made my day! I'll definitely ring ahead next time
Such a beautiful part of the world too, I'd definitely recommend a visit Bodhidharma!

We had great time, and I think she enjoyed it (almost) as much as I did. You live in a beautiful part of oz with inspiration and serenity all around! Thanks for your warm hospitality and I hope to visit again sometime soon
