can fig leaves suffer sun scorch?

Hi everyone,
I've heard contrasting opinions about the best position for fig bonsai in summer. I've been going with the recommendation of full-sun but some locals report sun scorching on leaves of figs (not necessarily bonsai). This morning I picked two leaves with discolouration off a Port Jackson Fig. It doesn't look fungal to me, but maybe it is? Or is it leaf scorch?

looks like sun burn too me. As far as i know any plan can get sun burn, even cacti

Most definitely they can get sunburn, especially if their health is down a bit.

andrew i agree they can get sun damage but mine are in full sun been 36-38 last 3 weeks here b4 the rain yestaday and all show no problems they really need to be grown in full sun otherwise internodes can get long and leaves wont reduce well, they love water when growing strongly.

Thanks Hornet and Bodhi for your quick replies. These are the only two leaves affected on a fairly large bonsai, I think maybe they caught some stray moisture when i was doing a late-morning water.
