Help with Multi Trunk Buxus

Hi you Guys out there that know what you are doing as I am relatively new to bonsai and only starting to know how to design single trunk trees let alone one with 4 or 5. I was wondering if anybody can help with this one,my original thoughts was to pull down the outside branches and create clouds that is why I have the cable ties and wire on but am having second thoughts as I feel there might be a better design for it. would appreciate any ideas.

Piccy four is your front and i would develop it as a group like it is. Refine the foliage and branching and it could be a nice little group.

A nice looking multi-trunk buxus, Reddoggy. Keep trimming those clouds and let the tree develop. Don't forget to feed it up.

What do I feed it with witchstreet, do they like a complete fertilizer or would I be better off with organic life.
also any other ideas for styling out there, you very talented stylists come up with some beauties , do I need to let the middle trunks get longer,

I think you have got to get the clouds more dominant and yes maybe let the middle get longer to get the triangular affect but then again I am like you, just getting my head around single trunk trees.

Multi trunk trees, should be styled with an overall triangular outline and thus each of the trunks must be a appropriate length to put its own apex in the correct position to do its bit for the overall shape. Look a t a nice forest and you will get the idea.
The individual trunks should be different sizes and thicknesses and have a similar shape and "feeling' to each other. If the main trunk is straight, then the others should match, Likewise if they are bent.
The trunks should not cross over each other which the one on you left may be doing?

Thanks for your info KC, a big help, the trunk on the left is a sought of lower branch or I suppose it could be called a twin trunk, is that allowable. on this sought of style or do I need to chop, it is just that I will lose all that left hand foliage.

Reddoggy, feed the multi trunk up by dunking it in Charlie Carp and water. Let the bubbles stop bubbling and then remove.
You can then use a slow release fertiliser or Organic Life. Either are good. The 4th pic is the front. Leave the branches as is and let develop. Try to develop the triangular effect.
