I noticed something around this time last year, which was that every day that I walk home, I pass a very large Oak tree. And last year I noticed that it dropped many acorns (Oak seeds). So (being oblivious to how long they would take to grow) I decided to take some home and see if they would grow. All of them did and I just put wire on them this afternoon for their styling. And I also grabbed approx. 15 acorns and planted them all (it is raining insanely here in Sydney) and I plan to use them to make a group setting. I wanted to know if anyone was willing to swap anything for some acorns/Oak seeds. Most of them grow, except the occasional few will rot. I can get you a lot if you're interested (as in 50+) I get them from a counsel strip so I'm not stealing them or obtaining them illegally. If anyone is interested what I would swap for, probably just some cut paste (I can't buy from overseas and I can't find any around near myself) or maybe some plastic growing pots (the kind you would buy non-bonsai nursery stock trees in, not Styrofoam/polystyrene, but hard plastic).
Just reply if you interested or give me a personal message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Re: [Swap] Oak Seeds (Acorns)
Okay just gonna update that of the 21 I planted; about 16 grew. So now I have 16 seedling oaks. Any suggestions as to what I could do with them all?

I would Plant them all out for a year or 2 at least and just let them grow as fast and hard as you can get them. then you can start to seletct particular ones to work on while letting the rest grow out some more.
Take or 3 a year to work on and Style and in a Few years you will have some nice trees to either keep and work on or maybe even sell.
