Hi guys........I have a Chinese elm with a beautiful thick layer of rich green moss. Lately though I have noticed some yellowish/orange patches developing, and this is despite all the rain we have had. Has anyone experienced this?? What is the cause? Will it get worse?
Thanks

Re: Yellow Patches
Is the tree healthy? if not get rid of the moss it is only an embellishment to the tree.Jester wrote:Hi guys........I have a Chinese elm with a beautiful thick layer of rich green moss. If it covers the whole pot, it is dangerous for the tree!!. Which is not what you want. Not a dead tree with a wonderful layer of moss.
I have seen this too often.
As Asus pointed out it is cyclic.
