Swamp cypress

I won this tree at a club raffle. It was about the thickness of 4 pencils tied together , and wasn't looking very good. Its a Grafted weeping variety, uncommon at this size, but you can get larger ones the same.
I have kept him in water with a high fert level, re potted in spring and already has a large amount of roots pushing through the bottom.
You might be able to see the growth on the trunk from the end of February until a bout 2 weeks or so ago (the light brown part). You might be able to see small line of green it still has.

Im going to clean up the branching, and wire some back down, and weigh down others, but Im interested in what others think, although I wont cut it to nothing, I'll rather pay $80 and get a larger weeping one and do that.... This one is unusual.

You will end up with reverse taper at the crown if you leave so many branches comming from that one area! Maybe the picture is making it difficult to see.......

there are three main branches with many sub branches. I'm keeping it under control by allowing growth on the lower area's of the trunk and constant removal of suckers around those branches.
This tree I was told was about 5 years grafted, when i got it. With the massive amounts of growth the past seasons since getting it, I have been able to get taper happening by allowing that lower growth.
