Carissa grandiflora

Post by Craig »

:gday: All, i picked up this carissa (natal plum) a couple of years ago , the trunk had an aweful bend in it which dictated it be a cascade. I didn't like that idea and wired the trunk to remove the bend. It flowers regularly and almost died twice but is now on track :) . http://www.quisqualis.com/08natpljoy.html

i just gave it a repot, it stands 180mm high from rim of pot.

Nice one Craig, These do make nice trees I have seen them as large trees also. I do remember one that caused quite a debate on another site. That was only a small one.

It was created by one of our members here.

Good one Craig, nice healthy tree with good lines and a pot that really shows it off.

Cheers, Anthony

Thanks guys, it's not the size of those Casa's but it's coming along nicely, here's a bigger pic as i always make them too small :palm:
I had to steal the pot from a maple of about the same size, I'm glad i picked this one
