Re: mother nature WOW!
The bird was obviously convinced your bonsai looked like a big old tree, some where safe to nest
How amazing is that. Photos of the babies would be awesome.

Re: mother nature WOW!
Hopefully I'll be able to document the whole lot, through to the fledging of the chicks. My biggest worry is cats. Our neighbourhood is overrun with them. I don't mind cats myself, but I wish people would lock them up at night. I will keep updating as I get more pics.

Hi all,
How big is that bonsai to be hosting a nest with an egg in it from a dove?

Hi crisatrocky , that is awesome to see . The most destructive species other than man would have to be cats . I have lost so many Blue Wrens and Crested doves here , i recon they should close duck season and open cat season . I hope it stays safe to allow the chick to grow up .
Cheers Alpineart

And follow that up with "Irresponsible Cat Owners Season". I had a neighbour that was responsible for at least 30 ferals, she used to feed and raise the kittens when they were born and then abandoned under her house, by their feral mother who was an expert King Parrot slayer.alpineart wrote:Hi crisatrocky , that is awesome to see .
