Clerodendrum

Has anybody worked with them and can give me few hints on the culture,are they a aussie native as I was given one and do not know anything about them. Thanks if anyone can give me a bit of info :lost:

Hi Reddoggy, I think they are an Aussie Native,with little white flowers in the spring time,apparently they have nice bark on them, but I don`t know if this information is a 100% correct, I am sure there are other members out there with a lot more knowledge than me, and you could do a search on it :2c: :reading: :imo:

I re-pot mine every six months as they are big feeder and will be come pot bound very quickly.
The Clero are Very brittle,so be very careful then wiring.

There are different types of clerodendrum, you should try to see what type of clerodendrum are available in your area, then ask questions specifically about that variety.
I dont know which species there are in Aus, but I got a Clerodendrum Smithianum aka light bulb clerodendrum.

Branches are very brittle, i've not attempted wiring on mine yet. Went by a prune and grow attempt so far.
