Re: New Additions
Lucky you, very nice trees. The root over rock is stunning, they all are.

Very nice trees indeed! Your elm has given me some ideas for one of mine I've been struggling to find a future direction for.

Re: New Additions
Hey Matt, did you acquire these from a nursery or from a private collection?

Jester,
Private collection from a very good grower who no longer is into it heavily. Good stuff is out there just have to find it and settle on a price which is always the tricky bit.

Lovely trees matthew and lovely pick ups. Good to give yourself a present - then you know you won't be disatisfied!
As for your premma - i did a search and found 'premna' are they the same? Was yours a typo?
I have not seen these previous to your posting, but the website i looked at said they were very popular. http://bonsaijournal.com/premna.php
Do they go under a different name do you know? Anyone else out there have one for us to look at?
Intersted..... very interested....

Stewert
Premma japonica AKA stinky maple as if you rub the leaves etc if gives off a unusual odour. back is a very nice colour and texture they get small white flowers in clusters than a black berry. decidious in cooler climates with a yellow colour they are frost tolarant. I have 3 , 2ROR and a shohin semi cascade. They make excellent bonsai.
