That is a ripper, Trust a Gum to give us something so out of the square 
It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

I noticed the other day several Gum trees that look several years dead but are now re sprouting with the heavy rain.

Oh how I do love the aspects that deadwood on gums brings to our bush. Even completely dead, they can be exceptional.
I have a few I like around here, but none compare to that. Stunning.
