Just another lilly pilly

Post by Bretts »

I mentioned on the drop in on Sunday thread that our local facebook buy swap and sell led me to a lady that was removing 20 mature lilly pillys from her garden. Even though I don't need another tree I thought I better go and have a look and grab at least one.
There where still about 10 or so to choose from but I found most had a negative taper :( I picked out this multi trunk one.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Hi Bretts , nice score .What did you do with the rest of them .You could have dug them and offered the free to new comers if you didn't want them :D . I cant go past leaving a tree behind even if i need it or not , i can always give it to a friend or someone not in a position to collect or someone less fortunate than myself .What goes around comes around :tu2: . How is that big mother one going ,any chance of an update :?:

Cheers Alpine

They where $20 each Alpine ;) I have heaps of trees here or I can collect that I would be happy to give away or sell at cheap prices but I am too far away for that to matter. :?
The big Lilly pilly is going great. I haven't touched it yet since it was collected.

Thanks Ken come back in another year or so for the next update. That's if it lives, starting to think we are going to have a cold Winter.
