Hi All,
Just a quick post of my new Maple. Do you like it.
Ok technically its probably not small enough to be on a bonsai forum but lets call it a good stock tree from which I may take a few exceptional layers in the future.
Oh I have just used one of my wheel barrows for a size comparison. ha ha ha

its an unwanted tree from one of my landscape projects mate it was growing in the ground with an 8 inch pot still attached at the base. its one of the perks of this industry.

Wow, dude that is a monster!! You could take several layers and then have a monster trunk to work as well!!

Wow that trunk is huuuuuuge!
Here is a maple i will be taking posession of in a weeks time... I really loved the flow of the trunk and will probably air layer off a number of branches to form new trees and then trunk chop the remainder hoping that i get the 1st branch to start budding on the 1st trunk curve (fingers crossed).
