Olive trade

Post by Pup »

I traded this olive a couple of months ago. I have been studying it since with not a clue what to do. Had a few ideas then today, I got out the tools and did some carving.

It has a long ways to go, but in WA it should power away next spring if not before if the weather stays like it is.I think it will be a keeper and trunk ratio to height is quite good almost sumo.

It is 29cm at the moment will probably let it get to 35. Just see how we go a bit more carving to hollow it out more.

Cheers Pup :)

G,day Mate if you saw what I traded for this olive you would see this is small, as I am down sizing.

Cheers Pup

G,day Crazy, I prefer the gray look and olive wood is so hard I do not use anything on them. This one will probably get the fire treatment though as it gets rid of the fluffy bits left by the carving.

Cheers Pup :D
