Hi seth1818, mate it looks like a callistermon/Bottle brush to me . It should handle the rough treatment you have dished out . I would untangle the roots , gently and make a root over rock with it if the roots allow for this type of arrangement . Plant it at a 45 degree angle so the leader comes up at vertical , then wire a single leader , doesn't have to be the thickest one at 45 degree's giving it the same angle/ movement as the base is place on . Then wire the rest of the branches down and out . This may give you a limited idea , but it just an idea . Hope it helps .
