Yea Steven had a bunch of them printed up, Maybe he should send out a pile to each club and Nursery in Oz
He also has some postcard sized Cards too for shop windows and the like.

hey all i have just reterned from my holiday in bali and after taking the 40 min drive out to senur we found out that the bosai cafe is no longer around due to the business not renewing the land contracts or something along those lines so needless to say i was a bit dissapointed :crybye: but ahwell just down the road there was an awesome orchid garden that we visited and that made up for everything it was so beautiful their and also had a guided walk around the garden by a young balinese bloke who was very knowlegeable so if your ever over there its deffinately worth the trip to see the orchid garden :tu2:

Whhhaaaatttt! :palm: :(
The bonsai would have to be around still ofcourse so I wonder if the collection will re-surface for public display elsewhere :?:
I think I know who could find it :reading:

Hi a mate of mine that goes up to Bali on a regular basis, always forgot his camera. You guessed it this time he remembered all charged and of he went from the other side of the Island and gone.

He made enquiries developers have bought the site for cottages, more money in them than food.
He also made enquiries as to their whereabouts no luck. Maybe Robert Steven or Budi Sulistyo can shed some light on the collection.

the cafe hasnt done well for a long time....most ppl go there to see the bonsai then to have a drink or a bite...youve always been able to look at the bonsai for free...
I believe the collection itself is owned by a very "high up "politician and the cafe owned by someone else so the collection will probally appear somewhere else..The land would be worth a fortune there so there is no surprise its gone...Good Damn developers....same everywhere...
Shame really...
I guess my bali bonsai books will become collectibles now...
