Thanks Craig, they're exactly what I was hoping for, to use for the Australian Plants as Bonsai project. Keep 'em coming!!! . The lines are very strong, and it shows how complex trees become when they have a history. They don't look like any other native, or any exotic variety for that matter. Tight paperbark bends are a whole new world... Worth gold, possibly of the foaming variety.

Anyone got more wild melaleuca photos from the east/south/middle/tropics (how far north do they grow?) Beach, bush, cliff, street - anywhere they look interesting.

Thanks again.

:gday: Mr Hacker, i won't lie to you mate, the thought has crossed my mind a few times. It is M. preissiana which is a difficult customer, if i eventually decide to dig it , i'll need to do it properly and trench the tree maybe more than once and develop a strong rootball or it most likely won't survive, , Risky business, cheers mate.

John, I have all the trees I want and as you know I am trying to sell the big ones. This one being M, preissiana is not as easy as some of the others to dig as Craig has already said, But I wont say no to the small ones  . Good work mate.

Cheers  Pup

Hi Craig , now i could walk through those tree's all day long . Some very inspirational material over there . Never gave it a thought when i was holidaying in the South West coast all those years ago , to look for the tree's .Those grass tree's had me distracted for a lot of the journey as well as the coast lines .I must return one day along with many other places in Aus , as i continually see things in a different light . Thanks for posting .

Cheers Alpine
