[SALE] Ultra cheap fire sale - Vic

Post by rowan »

I'm sorry to say that after a few weeks of soul searching and looking at my finances I have decided that I just don't have the time and effort required to run two businesses so ... the Bonsai have to go. My other business is taking up so much of my resources that I just can't do the bonsai any more.

I have around 50 good yamadori trees in the ground (mosly larger olives, some hawthorns and assorted other), around 300-400 trees on my benches and in 4-5 inch nursery pots and some assorted pots. I will only be keeping a couple of trees for my own interest.

Asking only $2000 just to get rid of them. I know that is not much but if I asked more I would not get anyone to even come and take a look at them as I live so far away from anywhere. I need the room for other things. :(

Great for an established nursery or someone who would like to start one. Just bring a ute and trailer.

Thats a shame for you. Good luck with your other business.
:palm:  I would love to get a couple of trees but the tyranny of distance and no doubt from the wording in your post you would prefer to make one sale and get it over with.

A couple of example pics but all the trees are good quality and well worth a look. The growing out paddock looks weedier than it actually is in this photo  There are trees of all sizes and shapes. Yes, I would prefer to sell all at once if possible.

Sorry Long, I can't get over to Melbourne at the moment.

Here are a few more quick random shots - sorry about the quality of the pics. All trees are great quality and the yamadori have mostly mature and aged bark. Most are ready to start training, carving or resale.

Hi Rowan, sorry to hear the news and best of luck with your other business.
I was visiting your website yesterday before I saw this thread today, and looking at your yamadoori trees on offer.
Please pm me if you don't end up selling them all in one hit as I would be interested in a few...Eng elm, Olive etc.
Best of luck!
Cheers, Dario.

Ah that's unfortunate you have to get rid of so many amazing plants! Maybe consider paying a friend/someone (who has time), commission to sell them individually on your behalf.

Dario, I would certainly be interested in selling a few individually if you were willing to come and pick them out. The only reason I put them up as a lot is that not many people would be willing to travel the distance required to just buy one or two. Let me know if you are interested.
Cheers,
Rowan

Sorry guys, I only have a handful of elms and prunus. Nothing to get excited about though.
