Maybe halfway.
A small Juniper procumbens, maybe halfway to where it needs to be. It stands 300mm high .

Re: Maybe halfway.
I really like the carving on this tree and the twisted trunk, has elegance and interest at the same time as it draws the eye to it.
look forward to seeing where you go with this one

Very pretty and elegant tree Craig, now you need to give her a set of roots to match!

There's no carving on this tree Ado, i have created the Shari which at the moment starts at the bottom as 1 then changes to 2 then back to 1, I'll not carve it but rather pull fibres to enhance the natural grains in the wood.

Re: Maybe halfway.
This tree has inspired me to train a bunjin juniper, so simple yet so elegant.
How old is this? I have begun to train one from nursery stock and is starting to take shape, I've just got to let the top fill out and bark up. Thanks for posting such a lovely tree

Cheers, Dario.
At the moment I am leaving this little tree to its own devices over winter and apart from admiring and watering I will wait until Spring for repot. I intend to let the top grow vigorously through spring/summer and then reassess where we are then. In the meantime I will have a think of possible future manifestations of this tree, But I will certainly post updates as they occur. thats a great idea
Cheers
