AABC and the Pups

Post by Pup »

Well it has been and gone but the memories, will last forever. There are plenty of pictures here, and plenty of how good it all was. Mrs Pup and I were in Melbourne early as guest of the Mornington Peninsular Bonsai Society.

Workshops and demonstrations arranged, so we had a bit of time up our sleeve. We were privileged to be invited to visit Lindsay Farr in Hawthorn.

After that were were also invited to tea and to view one of the finest collections of Bonsai in Victoria, some of the trees were on show at the exhibition.

Then to complete Wednesday over to the club rooms to complete my obligations.

Then on Thursday another invite, to another of Victoria's finest Bonsai collections, whilst we were there the Man of the moment arrived too.
So we had two very nice things to do. Say G,day and look at some of the best trees around.
I have not been to Japan, but I have been to Europe and the UK. These two collections would be well and truly on a PAR.

The owners have in the past had some very nasty types enter their property, and leave with what is not theirs.

So as the saying goes no names no pack drill. Just some nice trees, and of course Boon, and Mrs Pup.
Enjoy the trees where they live.
A very :D Pup

Wow. That is an awesome set of photos. I did have the pleasure of seeing the raft elm when it visited Canberra, but ....wow
So the Redwood turns to the Bonsai and says "Lend me a Tenner"......
