my display stand

Post by Aaron »

Hey everyone. I have just finished making a new display stand, for when my trees grow up a bit more, but it also works nicely come autumn to bring some trees out of hiding and embrace the warm sun. So i thought I would share with you all and some of the pics along the way of construction.

Aaron

ps I still plan in carving some symbols or something maybe into the front face of the board and possibly a brush screen behind attached to the shed............thats down the track, so is also another tree to go in the wine barrel on the left

Hi Aaron,

I like the wood-work -- I have yet able to cut two pieces of wood to the same length

From the picture, the stand seems to be close to the shed-wall. Are you worrying about
the reflective heat?

Best regards.

Well done Aaron!

Great workmanship and very unique with the carving. Is that crest your families?
I agree with Viet about the distance of your bench from your shed. I have experienced the damage of reflective heat first hand

Thanks for sharing it with us mate!

hey guys, yep thats my family crest. About the reflective heat, I wont use it during summer, i have a shade house for that at the moment, until i build my pergola. But it makes a nice little spot during the cooler months where they can stay warm.
