Pictures of bonsai from my trip to Japan

Post by Neli »

I am finally back home after 2 month buying trip of koi for my pond...It was a disaster trip...hectic nerve raking...tired...
Had to get the koi to SA first ...then ship them to Zambia..
Dont know exactly where to post this topic...Can someone help?
Basically this are pictures of bonsai I took on my trip. The best are the ones I took in SA...Hope U will enjoy.
This first picture is From Mr Tanaka 's bonsai...at his factory. Hiroshima Japan.

THAT'S UNFAIR! THEY ARE USING SOME AUSTRALIAN NATIVES BEFORE WE ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second top picture in the last post of photos features a Darwinia of some sort.

*EDIT* Just realised the name is on the label :palm: It is Darwinia taxifolia, a plant I have wanted to try for some time now.

That looks like Osaka Jo castle.
Is it?
Aikido keeps me rolling; Bonsai keeps me still.

Yes that is Osaka castle...and as U go from it towards the train underground...at the end of the park with the cherry blossoms are the little nurseries.
Thank U all for the lovely comments..
Will post my pond and Koi since there is interest. He he he! Going to the koi section.
