was wondering if anyone can id this azalea for me please




SOLVED by Dean-azalea is a satsuki ( summertime )

Hi Dragon, I would be fairly certain your azalea is an indica hybrid but which one I would have no idea there are so many of them. I think you would need to find an azalea specialist to get a name on it.

thanks for attempt at it i am sure it is a indica but what type is unknown to me aswell
i will keep searching for i have just spent the last day looking for it and the closest i got
was the kurume A osaraku from what the flowers look like

I've been looking for you. It is not a Kurume, the flowers are too large. More like one of the Encore group. Leave it with me, I will get to the bottom of it. :tu:

Its a very difficult task to get a definite ID. Take it back into the nursery where you bought it, thats the best bet (or take the flowering photo) :)
