Japanese bonsai paraphernalia

Post by billa »

Hello big people of little trees...

My brother is taking a trip to Japan & has asked me to make a list of things I would like him to bring back for me.

I would like to take advantage of my brothers kind gesture & would like to ask all my cyber friends (YOU!), what would be some good ideas?

Is there anything unique to Japan regarding bonsai that is not found here in Australia or hard to get?

If this was you...what would you ask for?

My brother will spend most if not all his time in Tokyo.

I was not sure where to post this and thank you for your time!!

:)

Is he able to ship a box of Tokoname pots back??? You'd probably get a few members interested in pitching in.
I'd be happy to, and then some for his troubles :hooray: :hooray: :hooray: :hooray: :hooray:

GREAT idea...I don't see why he would not. If I did some back ground work and lined up a freight company and got all the info regarding where to buy tokoname pots in Tokyo..all he would then have to do is a) buy them then b) take them to freight company. Could very well work...

hmmm If i was to carry this out though...I have a feeling il will be spending many sundays at his house washing his car and mowing the lawns :lost:

But the whole time you'll be smiling because you have pieces of japanese pottery in your collection ;)

Wait to see if more members are keen. :aussie: :aussie: :aussie:
