Hey everyone,
I've got some Ficus b. 'Kiki' cuttings in my aquarium setup, and they've been in the tank for only about a week. I leave the fogger on for a few hours a day. The pictures show what my results from that are as of a few days ago. The aerials have since sprouted even more and grown longer since taking those pictures. I'm wondering, can an aerial root harden off without being in soil? If so, when? Obviously the roots are growing like crazy on the trees, and a lot of them are growing over the edge of the pot they're growing in. I thought about potting them into larger pots, but due to the lack of room in the tank I cannot do that. Your thoughts?

Re: Aerial Root Question(s)
Have a look at these, Yes they do harden with time and growth even when they do not reach the soil.
