Found this on a tree at home. I know the tree as viburnum . It's all over the back of the tree.
What is it , what causes it and how do I get rid of it?

I looks a bit the same as Azalea lacebug presents itself, but probably isn't. Have a look with a magnifying glass and look for anything moving, if so, it is probably a species of mite (two spotted, or red spider) Confidor can work or another product called Kelthane.

I would agree with Hackimoto's assessment but would recommend using a liquid you dilute called Natrasoap . I think it's from Yates but an excellent product. I have some in the laundry but because it's so cold and I'm next to the heater, I'm worried that if I go outside in my jocks I might get a chill and get diarrhoea.......sorry !!! :crybye:
