juniper jin mould

Post by golgotha »

I jinned an unwanted branch on a juniper of mine a month or so ago and after a few days i applied lime sulphur, I was going to reapply the lime sulphur again after waiting a month yesterday and noticed that tjere was a few little mould spots developing. should i lightly sand it back before reapplying the solution or will the lime sulphur kill it off?

Will post pic this afternoon if it helps.

Thanks, Mitch

The lime should take care of it but a little sanding would not hurt. Mould is fairly typical this time of year in my area. Nothing to worry about.
