Clerodendrum Smithianum [ Light Bulb Clerodendrum ] Bonsai

Post by xtolord »

Hi all,
Here's a quick lil update on a Clerodendrum Smithianum [ Light Bulb Clerodendrum ] Bonsai.
I realize earlier during the week that it was rootbound in the pot, so I decided to repot the tree and ended up choosing a new front too.

The root system.
I untangled it, removed several sections that were rotting, removed some top root to expose the "nebari"

Closeup of the new front. I've kind of exposed several big roots that were previously hidden beneath tons of feeder roots.
