Just so you know I am not just a native grower. I do have others, this is one I like a lot especially at this time of the year.
Karume Satsuki X Jill Seymour. It has been flowering for about a month, it flowers like this every year for about 3 months, it has done so since 1992.
It gets watered every day, about every 3rd day it gets a dose of Seasol, remembering Seasol is not a fertiliser.
I was told it would weaken the tree so to reduce the flowers, did not listen and as you can see it is thriving. It is in Kanuma soil as they use in Japan for Azaleas.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do, cheersPup

Re: I like it
G,day Ryan, the seasol is only when it is in flower, as you should not fertilise when they are in flower. Though out the year I use MiracleGro for Azaleas and Camellias,cre8ivbonsai wrote:Very nice Pup, I like it too!

Alternating with Yates fruit and flower. Fortnightly again I was warned to much fertiliser is not good

Then I stop when I see colour in the buds, make sure the flowers and buds do not get wet. Water well while in flower, and Seasol.
Cheers

Re: I like it
Thanks Pup for the added clarification!
I do already use just the regular Miracle Grow (not as much as I should) so we'll see what pops out
Thanks again,
Ryan
