The blob returns!!
Hi Guys, I have noticed that when I use dynamic lifter pellets on some trees, after heavy rain, in the morning I find an unusual substance on top of the soil. It is like transparent blobs of jelly. Has anyone had this before, and if so what causes it??

Gday Jester!
What sort of soil are you using? The phenomenon you describe sounds like you have water crystals in your potting mix. During periods of heavy rain, these crystals swell up to the point where they can appear to be bits of chopped up jellyfish. I assume that it's a commercial potting mix (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Thanks and good luck.

EEEHHWWWW,
I have had this before, and it was from water crystals, but mine were added manually. You can get pree-done
soils with crystals in them, and there is a term for it wich escapes me at presant, but I would erge you to maybe mix your own soil if you don't allready.
Soltan has a few good idears for mix.
Thanks,
Mac

Yes I believe that it "is" commercial potting mix. Thankyou for helping me understand this phenomenon.
