No idea what species this is but looks hectic!

This has been chosen for the promotional posters for the Bonsai Society of Victoria's annual show (Oct 6-7 Box Hill Town Hall)
You will be able to see it first hand.
As you can see this species is very well suited to bonsai as are many of the melaleucas.
Probably not bracteata, the foliage is super soft. Which is more like the Incana methinks.

I'm thinking of cutting the left lengthy branch off right at the base of the trunk, notice how it seems to be two trunks fused together? If I can remove that, then get some pruning going, I think this tree will be on its way.

UGH why can't roots appear magically over night :cry:

don't rush.... many a good tree has been ruined by rushing it... you just dug it, let it be for 12 mths at least.

Paddles, I'm just hoping it survives at the moment while contemplating future plans. I'd hate to lose this tree so I have no choice to be patient haha. Thanks mate!
