Can't wait to see a virt someone could do on this. :fc: Maybe time to cut all branches back short, or wire and shape, to get some horizontal pads happening. :tu:

That's some great material... Can see a fantastic tree out of that in the future... As the others have said .. Time to wire, even if they are not final branches better to wire down a bit before its too late!

Yeah it needs a haircut doesn't it? :D , have just left it to go wild and throw out new roots, it was flat cut with a chainsaw so it had no roots at all, I like to let them go nuts for a while as its a two way street, lots of top growth = lots of roots, then cut back and look at it go, was thinking of doing something like this ...

You have a winner there. To my way of thinking the foliage pads could go a fair bit wider, a little higher and kept in an elongated umbrella shape. The lower one in particular, and the others, to come across the trunk, slightly hiding those parts of the trunk. :2c: Great tree, wish I had it.

Agree with hacki... Pads could be larger/ extend further given the size of the trunk... I'm sure there are a few out there salivating over this one!!

This last picture is looking good :tu: how high is the tree :?: :?: my self i would go a little higher giving the tree some more taper at the top with the possibility of more foliage pads as well :imo:
