Not too bad for $15 do you think?

Post by Stewart_Toowoomba »

Hi all

I picked up this crepe myrtle at a regional town nursery while visiting the place for my work. I thought it was too good to leave there for the sake of fifteen bucks!

I think that the lowest branch in the pics is too heavy and straight and should go. I see a delicate feminine tree in the making, what about you?

Could some members tell me how quick CM's callus over (if at all), as there must have been a lower limb at the very base of the tree that was trimmed off but there is still a small stub that needs attention.

Cheers

Stew

Yes they will callus over, but from memory of the tree in the ground at my old hose, they are not all that fast :lost:
Nice shape to this one you have there
