Hi All, this is a flowering cherry i have had for a few years its going ahead great and seems to flower better every second year, i will post another pic when its in full flower.

John i like this tree alot, my japanese flowering apricot is in flower now also. this year has been its best yet. i like the shade of the pot but maybe a little too large for this tree again i havent seen many flowering cherries as bonsai with good trunks and yours is up there.

Lovely colour and tree John !

Is this grown from a graft at the base? Just wondering. It blends in well and i'd be very happy to have it on my bench :tu:

Hi John Henry , mate a love love flowering cherries as bonsai and this is a very nice specimen . I can certainly see the effort put into this and has definitely paid dividends as a top Bonsai . Thanks for posting .

A lovely tree J.H. A question, i have never had a cherry deliver fruit in a pot for me, does this one fruit. :?: or is it an ornamental.

John, I dont know how you keep your's from leafing out. Mine is almost in full leaf as it is flowering. Must be the weather down your way i guess.
