Olivecrazy thats an incredible stump... can't wait too see where you start to go with it.
I'm very new to bonsai, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt but I think the tree cut back to the height of most of the virts members have provided would make a fantastic example of a 'root over mountain' style.
Again, i'm not sure if that is the correct term but it's what it was called in the program I watched (the name of which i cant remember). And sorry but i can't find a picture either. But i mean that instead of looking at the stump as one tree, the stump becomes a mountain and you train branches into smaller trees, of varying styles, all over your 'mountain'.
hope i made sense there. Anyway, whatever you do with that base, its going to be great.
