Toowoomba Bonsai Group Inc. Annual Show

Post by Stewart_Toowoomba »

The Toowoomba Bonsai Group Inc. Annual Show is on in support of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers :aussie:

Dates: Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd September 2012

Time: 9am - 4pm

Location: The Rose Cottage, Newtown Park, cnr Pottinger St and Holberton St Toowoomba

Cost: Adults $3 / children free

Show Features: Advanced and Beginner sections, bonsai market area, light refreshments and some superb company.

The Darling Downs is unique in its position and altitude in Queensland, as we have four distinct seasons. For this reason we can grow many species of trees not usually encountered in Queensland. From tropicals through to many temperate loving species not usually encountered this far north.

Looking forward to seeing you there. I'll be onsite all day Friday - so please introduce yourself and say g'day.

Should you require more information please contact the President Jeff Smith (07) 4635 5185

We went last year and it was good. Great to catch up with Betty Clem and a few others and the gardens up there were beautiful. :tu:

Photos please, Stewart. Speaking of seasons, we've almost finished our four months of frosts. Enjoy the warm.

Will do Gavin. I need time to get them off the phone. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon.
It was a very quiet day for us today, but it meant that we had more time to share and chat.

Judging has finished and we have a Best in show and a presidents award too..... but more tomorrow.

Stew
