Bonsai Thieves -Caught red handed

Post by alpineart »

These are the suspects thought to be responsible for the loss of quite a lot of Crab Apples and Trident Maples .
SANY0028.JPG
Yes i have to contend with these couple and numerous other that take a short break in the yard most mornings/evening .
SANY0029.JPG
Now it time to definitely put up a fence to gently guide them around the grow beds not into them . That bloody dog won't bark at a Kangaroo , but he gives those humans curry when he hears them walking down the road :palm: . Today i will definitely put up a fence to keep them off from and out of the grow beds .

Suspect last seen heading east. :lost:

Bonnie and Clyde of the marsupial world?
Marsupials with exceptional aesthetic taste? :lost:

Either way it goes, it certainly makes me smile :tu:

Thanks Alpine.

   I thought there was a lynching coming up. Kangaroo steak for tea maybe. Good luck keeping them out, I've seen them jump 6 foot fence to get to where they want to go to. Nice spot you must live in to have that though.

Ps. Alpine you certainly have a unique spot in the international market for bonsai pruned by Roos.
That pouch on their tummy will hold several types of cutters, wire and an assortment of other bonsai related hardware.

They are just helping out.

Not only are they doing the tip pruning for you, they would also be in charge of fertilizing. :D

Great pic Alpine

Hi Guys , just the apprentices turning feral . They produce along with wallabies and Deer some of the best natural shari's on collected pines . Just have to persuade them to go around not through . I think Bear does more damage , he has a fetish for plastic pots , so no tree is safe . In all honesty they are beautiful to watch , and i still have plenty of Tridents , its the crab Apples that are in short supply now . Have a great day fella's

My dog does the same Alpine, barks at humans but not the wildlife. Makes me suspect the Kanga's are much more trustworthy than humans.

Hi Bodhi , mate he barks at motor of all shapes and sizes , motor bikes , chainsaws even power saws , and those pesky Magpies . I did manage a deterrent in the way of some wire netting which hopefully will send them around the front of the fence or through the back yard .

Hi the specimen ,mate they are about 1.5m high , light brown , hair brown eyes , 1 female with a baby , 1 male , obvious setting a bad example to the youngster . Unfortunately they are reluctant to talk to the authorities , definitely recluse hillbillies , seen laying around frequently in the area mostly at night . Certainly not enviromental vandals but could use some subtle methods to bring them into line or guide them back onto the right path . I set a boundry last night so his should have them heading in the right direction .

Cheers Alpine .

Hi Webo's no not caught just gently persuaded to take the outside trail not the inside one . The fence has changed their mind as to the possibility of a juicy chomp on the nature strip instead , although she seems to be eyeing the grow beds off
SANY0009.JPG
. At least she is setting a good example to the youngster in the pouch .
