todays dig!! dogwood?

hey everyone :wave:

so ive been told this could be a dogwood? an id would be fantastic if anyone know's?
i pruned it hard 2 months ago and have been itching to dig it really bad
and with some free time today it finally happened
i removed all the flowers and removed anything i didn't want
i hope this makes a really nice semi cascade one day

hope you like it but more importantly i hope it survives :fc:

todays dig!! dogwood?

I'm no expert but the dogwood I know have different flowers , I think they have 4 petals in curl inwards . Also the foliage on dogwood is different . Unless this is z type I havnt seen before.

Its definitely not a dogwood...possibly a Pimelea.
