Re: CRBSInc. Bonsai Exhibition 2012
The Capricorn Region Bonsai Society Inc, just had our 3rd exhibition. As president I could not be prouder. 18 exhibitors from as far away as Mackay, Gladstone and Yeppoon. 179 exhibits as well as floral art, minature succulents and a nice display of Adeniums. Also we had a very well supported sales area. Not bad for a club which has been going justover 3 years. Something we are lacking is experienced bonsai artist. Not one of our 40+ members have had any bonsai lessons from any recognised bonsai artist or bonsai professional. Now see how we go, you be the judge.

Congratulations on a good turn out, some fine trees there.
Has your group thought about paying someone like Tony Bebb to come up and do a few workshops with the members, I'm sure some of those trees would benefit from it.

Re: CRBSInc. Bonsai Exhibition 2012
Thanks Bonsai4ever
Our club is a member of AABC and are able to get tutor's up from down south through them, and we are looking forward to doing that in the upcoming year/s.
It's the lack of experienced members in the club on a month to month basis which is the challange for our club. At the moment, my son and myself are the advice givers and teachers, and I'd have to say we do a good job, but it would be nice to have someone elses way of looking at things/other opinion to give the club a bit more diversity.
