Juniper of a beginner

Post by SeanBarracudA »

I bought this as stock from Virginia Nursery for about $20. I picked this one because it's trunk had some nice movement.
I thinned it out, branch selection, and did some simple wiring.

I'm not sure where to go from here, any ideas?

Here's another of them:

I don't think this one is working very well. Any suggestions? Or just plant it in ground for a couple of years?

with 2 long thin stems? branches? you have to decide is it an informal upright or Cascade.
both long and thin fight with each other.
you could wire them both and bend them to look like a pretzel to bring them both back in tight, or cut them back and regrow the apex or terminal
