Melaleuca Raph. virt

Post by Ces »

Here is my first proper virtual. It's of my mates tree that we repotted and defoliated a few months ago (posted in the Melaleauca forum).

So here's what it looked like a few months ago.

since then it has sprouted a plenty in many adventitious places. Sorry no photos.

Here's my virt.

I made this virt with the use of the instructions set oout by Jamie in his virtual tutorial thread. thanks jamie. I look forward to making some for my own trainers soon.

let me know what you think.

Cheers,

Ces.

Hi ya Ces, I have just read though 14 pages of Melaleuca rhaphiophylla, I could not find the post you mention at all.
The reason for my read is I am very interested in this species.

Cheers Pup

hey pup,

I'm really sorry. I may not have posted in that forum but I definitely put it up. I'll try and find it for you but there wasn't much information in it other than the tree had been collected from the hunter region, grown in a large box for 18 months then was bare rooted and completely cut back to a bare stump.

this was done on the recommendation of ray nesci. Again, I'll have to find the post to be sure when this was done.

You may also recognise the foliage, branches and apex from the tree ;) .

Cheers,

Ces.
