I've just gotten my first Bonsai tree, a lovely little juniper as seen below. I've been reading intensively about care taking and would appreciate some advice on location. Currently the tree is placed under our pergola in the backyard.

Here it receives really great filtered sunlight. I've read that Junipers can take full sunlight and enjoy the morning light. In that case, the only area of the house that can receive morning sunlight is on my window sill. The temperature may be more appropriate here since it's inside, however I know this isn't an indoor plant and the glass may take away from the UV digestion. If I leave it on the pergola all day, the afternoon sunlight is very strong and direct. Any advice on where I should place him would be much appreciated! Also I received it yesterday and there are a few brown/yellowish branches. Is this what is referred to as rust? The soil is definitely healthy and damp. Thanks so much for reading.
