Early christmas present

Hey all.
i was in brisabne for a few days with dad visiting my grandparents and i asked dad if we could see if there were any bonsai nursuries around.
sure enough there was and we visited Australian bonsai grower in park ridge.... wow what a great place steve was very welcoming and answered any questions i had for him. the amount of good quality stock there was ipressive also.
anyway dad said i could pick out a few things so i went looking around the place and came back with a little trident maple in a 3 inch pot and a pair of kaneshin Concave branch cutters
The branch cutters are really good and i doubt i will need to replace them for 10 maybe 20 years
I highly reccomend to anyone in or around brisbane that doesnt already know about steve's place to go and have a look im sure you will come home with something

I'm getting my old man to take me around to a few nurseries for my chrissy present this weekend! He loves plants more then me, so its a win/win for the both of us

Make sure you look after the cutters and clean / rub a bit of oil/wd40 or something after every use.
This will ensure that your new tool doesn't rust and you get the most life out of it!

If well looked after good tools will last quite some time.
I cannot say the same for those that are neglected!

G'day guys
The owner of the nursery recommended rubbing some olive oil on them after use so I will be looking after them well as they were a bit pricy

Hi there, a very nice cutter you have. Olive oil is a good alternative to the more expensive Japanese camellia oil I have used olive oil myself too. Just take a piece of tissue paper and wipe it off before using it.
