collecting a bougy in Perth

Post by eddieperth »

I've got a friend who wants me to dig up a bougy in her garden. I believe there is some potential there and don't want to kill it, but not sure my friend would be willing to wait too long.

Is it certain death for me to dig it up in January? If I did it what are the best things for me to do to give it a chance at living? While I'm at it, when is the best time to collect?

cheers all!

I would dig it - just make sure it goes into a free draining mix after collection. Cut it back fairly hard too.

that is awesome!! Cheers for the encouragement from both of you! I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Forgot to mention that she tried to poison this one last summer, but it came back this year. Anything to worry about there?
