Keeping Bonsai Inside at Night

Post by nvrslp »

Hey guys, my first post here, long time reader though! Was just wondering if it's okay to bring my bonsai in at night? The last two nights I've been keeping them on a desk next to a fly screen door with a pedestal fan on the other side of the room to promote fresh air circulation, it's in the kitchen so i put the overhead oven fan on (located in the ceiling) as well. I put them out straight away in the morning to catch the morning sun, but if i ever slept in the sun raises from the side that the plants are facing.

In my head I think this would be fine but i noticed a few of my trident maple seedlings have started to droop, they were recently re-potted and mistakenly i fertilized so that may be the problem but i'm not sure.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, happy bonsai!

the changing environment will not do the any good. and can shock them as well.
We humans like lower humidity and this is not good for any treee

Leave them outside al the time, they are trees and designed to be outside.
You can bring a tree inside to show, but to maintain health, 3 days inside, 4 weeks or more outside.

Thanks for the reply! Awh not even right behind the dodgy old mesh screen door that leads to outside? It's right next to where i keep them outside too, they're along the wall where the door is, still no good? I can take a picture. Just really starting to worry about theft.
